I usually listen to the in game music when playing guild wars.
But normally I listen to metal. Mostly progressive stuff these days. Just to name a few: Dream Theater, Symphony X, Fates Warning, Opeth, Threshold, Pain of Salvation, Pagan's Mind, Queensrÿche, Gåte, Nightwish, Angra, Kamelot, Iron Maiden (!) and sometimes a little Manowar just for the cheesy sword and warrior stuff Try this link for a bigger list of progressive metal. |

Usually just listen to my iPod which contains stuff like 30 Seconds to Mars, Green Day, Reel Big Fish, et al. The in-game music is good as well, so it's all good.

I just listen to the ingame music.. I dunno, I love rock and indie, but it just doesn't sound quite right with a rpg... sometimes i put on the soundtracks from other games tho..

Mm I listen to Led Zeppelin, Queen, Styx, Doors, Elton John, Hendrix, Clapton, Skynard, Beach Boys, Beatles, Journey, some Jazz...uh...the list goes on and on like a long and winding road (see what I did there?)
Lol one time when I was playing Planetside I was just getting used to using Teamspeak. Well I didn't know that TS was, by default, voice sensitive. So I'm listening to music and singing to my guild at the time (unknowingly). Unfortunately someone was recording it too and they held it over my head. It was all in good fun though, pretty funny. I sing like crap. But oh well...
